James Joins Brock Grain Systems as Production Planning and Purchasing Supervisor

Production Planning & Purchasing Supervisor
VINCENNES, Indiana, U.S.A. — Cassandra James has been named the Production Planning and Purchasing Supervisor for Brock Grain Systems in the company’s Vincennes, Indiana, manufacturing facility, according to Chris Gartland, Unit General Manager for Conditioning and Handling Systems for the Brock business unit of CTB, Inc. Her responsibilities in her new position include developing, leading and managing the planning and purchasing process at the Vincennes facility. She will research, source and evaluate vendors which are aligned to the business unit’s goals. She will also manage inventory levels and accuracy to ensure company goals and customer ordering timelines for Brock’s grain handling product line are met.
James is an 11-year veteran of buying and inventory management with experience in the consumer electronics, industrial machinery, automotive, and medical device industries. Prior to joining CTB, she most recently held the position of Lead Buyer.
A graduate of Vincennes University, Vincennes, Indiana, James earned an associate degree in logistics and supply chain management. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
James is a native of Vincennes, Indiana, and continues to reside there.
